In 1998 Lucas was invited to work & exhibit in Indonesia. She set up house & studio in the city of Yogyakarta in Java to work towards several exhibitions, the first a solo exhibition at the Ardiyanto Galeri in Magelang, following with shows in Darwin, Sydney and country Victoria. She continues to exhibit in Java and Bali.
